NPB Prerequisite Alignment

How your NPB coursework maps to prerequisites for each career. ✅ Strong coverage · ⚠ Partial / course-dependent · ✖ Gap — add coursework

PharmD Requires the Most Additional Coursework

Of all paths compared, PharmD demands the most coursework NOT already covered by the NPB major. Gen Chem I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry must all be added before pharmacy school eligibility — representing 3–4 additional quarters of prerequisites. By contrast, RN, Respiratory Therapy, PA, PT/OT, and Exercise Physiology paths require far fewer additions — primarily just Microbiology and in some cases a Biochemistry upgrade.
